Chromecast does not have its OS, instead, it mirrors the phone or Tablet that you are using for casting

In Roku express+ there is a separate port for TV’s that do not have HDMI access
You can connect a chromecast using an HDMI cable. You can use a convertible adapter also
Controls
All the Roku devices have a remote for controlling the device and there are three models which have voice control also
Chromecast entirely depends on the device that you use for mirroring purpose and so control also comes from that device only.
Content provided
You can access many channels with Roku. All you need to do is login and type the Roku code in roku.com/link and select the channels of your choice.
Chromecast does not provide all channels, only certain channels are enabled. If you try streaming from your mobile, the battery life will face a very bad impact
Dependency
Roku is dependent only on the internet connection, which can be accomplished using a router alone.
Chromecast depends on many factors like the router connection, the mobile phone or tablet’s battery life, and many more.
